9 Pumps Improvement to Complete Next Month

As much as 9 damage pumps are still under maintenance process by Jakarta Public Works Department. The repair of damage pumps located on some places such as Residents of Civil Servant Cooperative Union (IKPN) complex in Bintaro, Pulo Raya, Kemang, Kebon Baru, and Bidara Cina are targeted to complete in next month.

According to Agus, besides have function to divert water from reservoir to sea, the water pump also necessary to divert water from inundate settlement to river or reservoir.

His side also deployed two mobile pumps to Kebon Baru Tebet. Kebon Baru area is included in one position that being visited by Jakarta Governor and founded one damage pump because of lack of fuel.

Meanwhile, the road elevation is about to work in Bukit Duri and Kebon Baru. It is because those two areas are often inundated and damaged the road.

"The north side of that road will be elevated by using 2014 amendment budget. The south side had been elevated before," he added.
